there's no such thing
as too much chocolate~ after my chocolate cupcakes for lunch, my family decided to visit a chocolate dessert cafe for dessert after dinner. bracegirdle's is well known for their amazingly rich and creamy hot chocolates which are served in dark, milk and white. being very traditional, i decided to have the milk chocolate. it was delicious and warm and perfect for a windy winter night!
we decided to share a couple of cakes since we weren't hungry (or fiendish) enough to devour an entire cake each on our own. the sticky date pudding was served with a shot of melted chocolate and cream. i think i only got a forkful of this, but it was a good forkful! i did find the pudding a little on the drier side, and the usual caramel sauce would have been nicer too~
ever since i tried my friend's delicious dark chocolate and raspberry muffins, i have fallen in love with this rich and fruity combination. (it's also my favourite macaron flavour at the macfactory) this dark chocolate and raspberry mudcake was perfect! with the cream on the side, i would have gladly eaten two more slices on my own! (that's a little exaggerated, maybe!)
dear dentist, i promised i brushed, flossed and rinsed after my sugar filled day~
