lolita can be for anyone

we held a very lovely introductory and interactive presentation about lolita fashion to help all the new lolitas find out more about the fashion and how they can buy things online as well as inspiring girls to coordinate beyond the lolita boundaries. i helped out with the introductions and style showcase which was so much fun! i wore a very pop style sweet lolita with all my newest sparkle peach goodies.

outfit post #91:
- hair bows: handmade, offbrand
- pink blouse: angelic pretty
- candy star rabbit op: metamorphose
- sheer lavender tights
- lace trimmed ankle socks
- pink spotty converses: converse all stars
- accessories: sparkle peach, chocomint, handmade

we held a huge raffle too with seven prizes to be won. they were all full of goodies donated by willing local girls. i even chipped in a few moripop bows and brooches~ lot's of new girls won these prizes, so i can't wait to see how they wear their new goodies. we had talks about styles, makeup, coordination and helpful tips on buying online. i sure hope this will mean more girls will wear lolita here~~

sparkly peachie goodies (for you!)

ps: readers, you'll find i have a little surprise for you all at the end of the post~

i wanted to review some of the cute accessories my very talented friend makes that you may have already seen in my outfit posts. sparkle peach is run by the very adorable lauren who makes adorable sweet accessories, nail art and decorated iphone cases for sweet lolitas as well as cute accessory loving girls. her goodies are perfect for decorating especially for deco-lolita or sweet lolita. i love wearing a piece of two even on a super casual day to uni, just to brighten my day~

fluffy star 2way brooch. this brooch is so soft and goes well with spank or pop style as well as deco-lolita. you can even wear it in your hair too~ they match my sweet converses too! heehee~ currently there are some fluffly rainbows similar to this star on her storenvy.

this is my favourite necklace from sparkle peach~ she custom made me a nickname necklace. it's an acrylic laser cut with a cute heart on it. i love wearing this on a black blouse and making it stand out~ she's been making plenty of geeky acrylic cuts with words like 'otaku' and 'kawaii' which have been selling out faster than she can put them online so check her facebook for the most up to date updates.

i'm not usually one who likes super decorated nails, but she let me try these on. these are the most colourful, sugarcoated darlings. i love them so much and didn't want to take them off~ she's willing to take custom make orders too so check her facebook for designs and to place your order.

you'll find lots of sparkle peach goodies down the artist alley along with moripop and hologram.world. we'll be a super bright and colourful stall that you can't miss, so do stop by and see all the new merchandise sparkle peach (and co.) will have. i've seen some more cute previews of more geek necklaces, tons of sparkly starry bracelets and cookie brooches to come. what do you think? aren't they all so sweet? check out her facebook page for more sweet goodies, and don't forget to like it too~

and to all my sweet readers, there's a little something special for you too~ simply follow my blog , and you'll get a lovely free gift in you next purchase on sparkle peach's storenvy or facebook page~
just leave a note when upon checking out letting her know you're a 2tspofsugar and sparkle peach follower to claim your peachy gift!~ this applies to international readers too~ (ends 31st August 2012)

i got sunburnt

we had a very mini picnic with a small group of
local lolita girls. since it was a weekday, many girls
had to work and we were left with a small knit of friends.
nevertheless, the weather was perfect and we all had plenty
fun relaxing and laughing about silly things.

when i returned how, i realised how red and sunburnt
my arm was! even though we were sitting under a tree,
the sun was so strong. now my arms are going to be
uneven! oh dear~

i decided to turn the spank coordinate into
a sweet casual lolita style outfit. do you think
i succeeded? when waiting with some friends
while we were all dressed in frillies, a girl
approached me to ask where i bought my lacy
socks from! just the socks, nothing about the dresses,
nothing about lolita! heehee~

innocent world pieces.

do you like dumplings? these are the korean
style fried dumplings that we tried. one of my friends
is a korean girl who recommended the restaurant,
and she helped us order the best dishes on the menu.
besides these delicious dumplings, we had some
authentic korean dishes. it's a shame i didn't get enough photos...

for dessert, we decided to visit the crepe store
in chinatown which wasn't too far from the restaurant.
we were having an intense discussion on where we could
find the best crepes, and since some of us hadn't yet tried
this place, we were all too eager to go!

i decided to have the red bean and shiratama with
green tea soft icecream cold crepe, which was so yummy
(except the shiratama, i can't say i like them!)

between the lines

of my design drawings, there is always time
to enjoy playing with makeup and such~
actually, it's always been a dream of mine
to put together a really cute spank outfit
but my wardrobe doesn't hold the things i need!
this is getting close right?

my sweet sister, la petite princess was also
looking elegant! this would be classified more as
gothic, right? snow white cross mad hatter~
nostalgic! that mini top hat was made between
the two of us for my mad hatter costume
three years ago! time sure flies, it's still intact! shock!

we were taking photos modelling the nails that
our friend made! they are really cute and gorgeous, right?
sorry! my hands aren't professional hand model hands!

back to drawing lines...
