onto the exciting part of the lolita tea party (for meee!) i had been saving my beautiful chess chocolate by angelic pretty for this day, and i was so very excited to be able to twin with my lovely sister (the main host for the day) in a navy and brown coordinate. unfortunately i haven't been as blessed as some other girls, and found the bustier slipping down quite often through the day. thankfully, i have some lovely friends there to remind me to pull it up constantly, especially for the photo taking!~
outfit post #74
- glitter gold tulle bow handmade
- navy chiffon blouse with necktie
- chess chocolate bustier JSK from angelic pretty
- navy tights
- brown teaparty shoes from secret shop
- pannier from bodyline (altered with more netting~)
- melty chocolate bag from angelic pretty
i was really happy with this wig. although i had originally planned to wear a browner coloured wig, it was so tangled and i couldn't be bothered to untangle it. but this one is so straight and easy to take care of! i'm starting to like it more. what do you think of blond? i've always liked lightish grey blonde hair colour, but i never thought it really suited me... i borrowed my friend's bathroom for some quick, blurry, last photos of the outfit before the big change... (next post~)
and lastly... i even painted my nails in a very amateur melty chocolate design. i used 'pink before you leap' by opi and a cheaper 'mocha fever' by rimmel. i think it looks okay from afar... what do you think? it was a last minute job done while watching television the night before~
you both look amazing :)
