lolita blog carnival: an animal themed coordinate

this week's topic for the lolita blog carnival was to create a coordinate inspired by an animal of your choice. the lolita blog carnival is a facebook group of girly lolita bloggers who share their thoughts and ideas on the same topic each week. it's so much fun~

i'm usually so late with the friday deadline, but this week, i had the perfect reason! i decided to coordinate with my favourite animal - rabbit! (see the connection yet?) i used the lovely missing letter keys and rabbit print from the indie korean brand 'baroque' for my coordinate, which i wore to the lolita easter meet! the rabbit theme ties in perfectly with easter, right?

outfit post:
missing letter keys and rabbit jsk: baroque
matching headbow: baroque
black lace rabbit ears: handmade by me
rabbit hair accessories: handmade by me
wine chiffon blouse: asos.com
collar accessories, clock brooch: from a kidsyoyo beret
black pattern tights: taobao
emikyu style shoes: secretshop
small biscuit bag: baby the stars shine bright

it took me a few times to make the lace rabbit ears correctly, but i was really happy with how they looked! i even made a matching pair for my sister's outfit~ i added some cute little rabbits too! what do you think? aren't they cute?

and lastly! a close up of the pretty tights i wore. i bought them from a shop on taobao last year, and forgot about them. the ribbon sits on the knee, but it wasn't at all visible under my dress. oh well~!!

if you'd like to check out some other coordinates follow the list~ looks like this was a popular topic this week~!

  1. What an adorable coordination ! (^0^) That baroque JSK is amazing (I wish I was able to reserve the blue JSK), and you rocked it ! I especially love the gold shoes matching with the rabbit print (and those little rabbits on your head) <3
